Lopez lake is our go to place for camping and fishing. Fortunately the water levels went up this winter although it's still less than half of full capacity it's a big improvement over last year. In the summer reservations are needed, last minute you're typically...More

Although the drought has lowered the level of the lake, it remains a beautiful place to hike, picnic and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are several hikes of varying degrees of difficulty and all are worth exploring.

Lopez Lake is close to where we live, so we can go often. Always pleasant and fun. Easy boat launch. The "general" store right there is fantastic.

Lopez Lake was down to just 20% filled before the rainy season started this year. The boat launch ramp was actually closed and the poor concessionaire was barely hanging in. Things are looking up now and the lake is over 50% filled and more rain...More

Love coming to this lake, coming here for 15 years for family reunions. Lake a little dry, but will come again this summer.

We took the grandchildren up to Lopez where they wore themselves out on the water slide and slept all the way home. A relaxing day can be had in the country at Lopez Lake.

Loved seeing the abundance of Deer in this beautiful park. It must be amazing when the Dam is full. Can't wait to go back one day and have another crack at the waterpark!!

We love Lopez Lake, but the drought is really hurting the area. The level is too low to launch your own boat, however there are boats for rent that are already in the water.
