Lunch at Taco Tree, a walk across the tallest bridge in California and then ice cream at Fosters Freeze. The bridge is amazing and the views are spectacular. What a great day!

I enjoyed visiting Forest Hill. Small town feel. They have a great funky gift shop with a super friendly owner. I had lunch at the little cafe that was good.

This is the highest bridge in California and also a place where several movies were shot. You can see both ways over the Canyon and for miles. There is a small place to park so you can walk out over the bridge and take photos.

Had the opportunity to explore Auburn and the Forest Hill Bridge...awesome! Did a little hiking on some great, well-marked trails and even though I didn't have time to traverse the bridge I was able to get some great pictures from dizzying heights in numerous areas....More

I believe the name of the place I used to stay with the Forest Hill Lodge. I absolutely love that place but the last time I was there they said they were only open for weddings. So I'm not sure if they're open to the public... More
