This wonderful walking/biking trail is awesome. It takes you right down to Avila Beach downtown. We saw the most amazing wildlife on this adorable route. Highly recommend!

We always enjoy the Bob Jones Trail. It's an easy path that allows for wheelchairs (my mother-in-law) as well as strollers & bikes. Plant species are identified with discrete boards. And it outlets at Avila Beach. Wonderful.

We hiked several times on the Bob Jones trail but only the last 30 minutes into Avila Beach. It is lovely, flat, and offers views of the hillsides and river. I birded the path one morning and had several species of birds to look at.

Next to golf course and creek. A little hot in the middle of the day because it is a paved road; but it is a great place to take your kids on their bikes or skates.
