The atmosphere is fun, just like other bar atmospheres, and the staff is friendly and funny. Its a nice looking place too! Happy hour deals are the bomb diggity! The food is GREAT, but MAN prepare to wait for a long time no matter how cram packed it is (or isnt). If you want the best SLV beer, there it... More

The food looked good and did taste ok, however my son's hamburger (teenager) came out with a bite in it, we asked for a new one, and we got a new one. Good customer service would normally mean the hamburger was not charged for. Our waiter charged us for it and also did not apologize for the hamburger. The place... More

While killing time in Alamosa on a Saturday afternoon, we stumbled across this brewery. The minute you walk in, you know you're going like the beer because the great atmosphere! The smell of mash cooking up for the next batch of beer added to the atmosphere. Happy hours prices from 4-6pm everyday couldn't be beat. $2.75 for a pint of... More

We stopped here on ale venture. The atmosphere is very friendly. We had lunch, brew, and dessert. The food was very good. Rubens and burger and fries. Very fresh and meaty. They recommend pale ale as a Citra hops. It was very yeasty and suitable for hand to hand combat. We will be back

Batter on the fish and chips was not seasoned well...pretty bland. Nothing that couldn't be handled at table with salt and malt vinegar, but slightly disappointed. Thank the Gods they have good brew to accompany.

We stayed in Alamosa to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park. We had dinner here; the Colorado Trout and the locally-sourced sausages were very good, as was the service and the amber ale (although I was surprised to find out that, when I asked for the ale's IBU's, I was told, "we don't do IBU's here" - a first... If you enjoy craft beers and local breweries, definitely stop by this place. Happy hour is 4 to 6 daily and offers $2.50 pints (yes, pints of IPAs, stouts, etc for $2.50!!!) and a decent selection of HH appetizers at bargain prices. Menu prices looked very reasonable (mostly sandwiches for $10 or less) but we were full on the $6... More

Great beer (I highly recommend the IPA or Oatmeal Stout) and good food. I recommend the bacon-wrapped Fillet Mignon if you are into steaks - lots of options for those who are vegetarians as well. Excellent atmosphere, though it can get a bit load inside during weekend evenings. Great patio seating, and if you bring your dog along, staff will... More
