This was a great view when on top. We took the gondola, but at $21 each, it was a little pricey. But, up top, there was a fair amount to see. they had lots of family activities from checkers, chess, climbing, disk golf, etc.

Top of the mountain is paved over for tourists and restaurants, which is disappointing. Difficult and time-consuming to get off the beaten track to better views.

Great place! You bourbon fans have to stop by the Hotel Jerome (1889) and sample their sips (pic attached). Get the combo pass for the gondola / lunch / Maroon Bells excursion!!!! Best deal and scenery in town!!!
