Beautiful Park!

Beautiful park loaded with flowers with many water features and meandering paths to secluded areas with seating for reflection. Worth a visit for certain.

This is an amazing place to experience by yourself or with a loved ones. Stones feature songs and quotes in honor of John Denver. I felt very peaceful and calm while walking through.

Loved seeing the songs of John Denver on the stones. I know it may be corny, but it would've been nice to hear his songs softly playing while walking through the area.

The John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen, Colorado is a fine place to walk through and explore. It is a public park, with walking trails along a creek. There are large boulders scattered throughout, several with some of John's songs carved into the rocks.

Very nice tribute to John Denver. The sanctuary wasn't as big as I thought it would be from the reviews. The landscaping with the boulders, flowers and water was very peaceful. Enjoyed the places to surly, relax and ponder all the good things John did while he was on this beautiful place called earth!

Whatever your views on John Denver, this is just a nice place to be. A smidgen hard to find, it is in the back portion of a park down N Mill St. The sanctuary itself is comprised of paths between water features, beautiful plantings interspersed with rocks carved with inspirational sayings about nature and John's lyrics. I was prepared to... More

Never having the opportunity to enjoy John's music live, his songs, poems, his feelings for Colorado rest here in this Place. Peaceful small yet wild beauty, Id like to think he might enjoy. Just a short walk from the downtown Aspen (nothing is that far in Aspen).

What a beautiful way to honor such a wonderful musician. I've been in love with Denver's music since I was a little girl, and this place brought back all the emotions Denver's music has brought to me. So glad I could visit!

It's a simply awesome place just to wander, sit, and reflex. The flowers and sounds of the Roaring Fork River in the background make it a time to just to be there! The carvings of John Denver's songs into the rocks just add to the experience.
