A walk in this beautiful sanctuary will change your attitude and clear your mind. The flowers are spectacular, and the views of the mountains were breathtaking. Truly a spectacular place.

Really lovely place to walk around. Right next to the downtown area so, you don't have to get further into the mountains to enjoy some serenity in nature.

The sanctuary abuts a public park. It has large boulders with song lyrics engraved. While a pleasant stroll if you are near by, not something to seek out.

Great place for all ages -- kids had fun playing in the water and rocks and sand. Gorgeous flowers and lots of picnic tables scattered througout for a perfect picnic. This is a must visit in Aspen!

I put on my headphones and spent an hour or so at the beautiful and peaceful Sanctuary. The rocks with his song lyrics carved into the face were so lovely. The wildflowers were stunning. What a beautiful place. RIP John Denver.

I would suggest contacting Willie Hoevers, who is also making plans for the 20th anniversary of John Denver's death. Willie is also on Facebook. My wife Diane tells me she knows you from Facebook. We live up in Wisconsin.
