This nature center has a variety of birds and habitats. The staff was very friendly and kept the kids engaged.

Very nice small preserve in town. Short walk very easy. Many places to sit and contemplate. We enjoyed the peace and quite. Very helpful nature guidebook.

The guide we had kept us motivated and engaged the whole way up to crater lake. She was knowledgeable about history, vegetation, geology, and environmental issues. I cannot believer this is a free service, but we will be donating to the AES to support that...More

Attended the Christmas Open House and had a great time. Loved everything about ACES. Bonfire, Aspen Brewery craft brews,tasty appetizers and beautiful setting. Highly recommend!! Love the resident raptors!!!

What a treat! In Aspen, see live birds of prey, and take a nature walk along trails near beautiful dams. Abundant waterfowl. In Basalt, visit a working farm with many animals and vegetable greenhouses. Great activity books for children. Highly recommended. Very friendly and engaging...More
