Most photographed mountain in the country. Pure paradise! Must take a bus to get there during the summer. Very small parking lot at the top. The closest a tourist is going to get to experiencing the real backcountry! A must see!

Reputed to the most accessible alpine lake in Colorado, both the lake and the view of the Maroon Bells in the distance are breathtaking. You can hike, bike ride or snowmobile to the lake depending on the season. Best time to go is in the...More

The parking is absurd. I usually wait until after 5 pm and drive in. Before that you are trapped by bus schedules and if you miss it you spend the night. The area is absolutely beautiful and quite unique in coloration and detail, not just...More

Views from this beautiful valley of the Maroon Bells are iconic. Make sure you bring a camera ad sunglasses is you are visiting with snow on the ground.

Absolutely beautiful these mountains are the most photographed in the country for a reason. When you look up at them remember how many people have skied them and how many have died trying.

We really enjoyed the Maroon Bells Tour. This company did a great job with the snowmobile tour. We did this instead of another day of skiing and we weren’t disappointed.

One of the most photographed locales outside of Aspen Colorado. Beautiful walk to the lake. Bundle up and enjoy.

Access is bit difficult depending on snow conditions. Snow shoeing but avalanche precautions are called for.

Awesome tour. Great ranch! Very nice! Great experience. For the first time you do this, Maroon Bells tour is a great tour. You can have 2 people ride on 1 or each have their own. You can definitely have one drive to the mid point,...More

You can take your dog nearly everywhere in Colorado. Most tourist destinations require dogs to be under control, which is to expected.
