We didn't get to even see the mine. They are only open on weekends & for groups of 4 or more people. That is really limiting.

Traveling back 1200 feet under Smuggler Mountain and departing on a different level is an experience worth going for. Knowledgeable guide.

I have read all the reviews and it sounds like this tour is kid-friendly, but how young? I have 5 and 7 year old adventurous boys who watch Prospectors and can't wait to go in a real mine! Also is this year round? We will be there in April.
