The Aurora reservoir has a nice little beach and roped off swim area for kids. I had a number of shelters and a playground. There are also paddle boards etc to rent for extra.

Great space to go play volleyball and enjoy the sun with friends. Big park and great for picnics and such!

We went here for a work-family appreciation day. Large parking lots with a clean beach. Areas to cook food over a fire pit and clean bathrooms. If you bring a bike try to ride the trails that go all the way around the reservoir. If...More

We have enjoyed many walks around this reservoir! It is convenient but far enough out of the city to be pleasant due to not much vehicle noise.

my husband walked 9 miles, round trip, it was absolutely worth the time, great excercise, quiet, nice views, will definitely walk it again and again!!

Yes, but it is often very dusty out there in the open part of the water. Could get a little choppy on you. If you're up for the challenge , go for it.

No camp sites or tent sites are available. This is more of a day use park.

boat launch is not open as of today. ice is gone. fish are biting from handicap pier. caught a 20 in trout.
