We really wanted to like this beach after reading all the reviews. It was impossible to park and a long walk to the beach. Very hot with absolutely no shaded areas, so be prepared. The water is choppier here and had more seaweed than other...More

Parking is slightly difficult but not the hardest in the world to find, its ok to park in the streets near the houses as we asked some locals where it was ok to park. The beach was not busy at all which is what I...More

We were exploring and trying to find this beach. There is little to no parking anywhere around this access. The access is well hidden. The parking off the road was very narrow! You could not have your tires on the road. This was very hard...More

Lucky to have a rental a few steps from here and it is stunning, unspoilt and totally peaceful. Walked today at sunrise and we were completely alone. Beach access and street signs seem more in evidence this year making it easy to retrace your steps....More

It is tricky to find since I don’t think there were any signs that said Bean Point; just beach access. We parked just about a half block from the Gladiolus access and walked into wide, sugar white sand, clear blue water and minimal crowds. We...More

Bean Point is hard to find, but when you do find it, it is worth it! The view is incredible and the beach is beautiful. There are no facilities, but if you plan ahead, you’ll be fine. It’s private, natural and very clean. We saw...More

This beach has soft white sand and crystal clear water. The sunset is absolutely lovely. You can find may different types of shells including sandollars and starfish and you see ocean life such as manatees, dolphins, and rays swimming by.

We stayed on the north end of the island during our week at AMI, and I walked from our house up the beach to Bean Point most mornings. It was lovely. We also caught a sunset there. It's a beautiful place to enjoy and just...More

Bean Point is probably the most beautiful beach on the island. But there are No Parking signs everywhere within 2-3 blocks. We couldn’t even park a golf cart near the acces path. This made it very difficult for one of our party with a bad...More

As most have said there isn’t much parking and you may have to stop and ask a local where to find the entrance. It is absolutely stunning though and worth the trip to check it out. Perfect spot for a sunset.

We rented a house there so we walked to the beach. There are a few parking spaces on some of the side streets but not many. Parking can be difficult.

There are no life guards along this stretch of the beach. People do play in the water/sand, walking, and chasing waves, however, Holmes Beach (just as you come onto the island) has a beautiful swimming area with life... More
