Hiking, swimming, kayaking, camping; what more do you need? The hiking trails were clearly marked and there were plenty of choices. As you're hiking, closely observe the different types of flora/fauna based on how far away from water you are. The variations are really amazing.

The fresh water spring swimming pool is amazing, but the trails are breathe taking. My wife and I walked just over 10 miles on the trails and that was only one side of the park. We would have continued if we had not ran out of water. The scenery is unbelievable. Find a nice walking stick and hope on a... More

I visited the park and camped for a couple days with the family. We were able to take a hike in the late morning through one of the many trails in the park. The kids really liked the springs. I'm planning on going back in June with a camper and reserve some time to go horse back riding along the... More

This was a good area to go for a little bit. The water was super cold but for a wild you get use to it. There was little animal around and it was super great for every one.

This is a wonderful park. The spring is absolutely authentic Florida. Nice facilities with lots of trails, picnic areas but especially the spring. Lots of history, wildlife and nature. A great alternative to theme parks.

I went early before the crowds so I could take advantage of biking and photographing nature around the park. Arrive at 7am if you want the place to yourself for exploration. Many different eco systems to explore. Canoe rentals on site. A superb place to swim laps early morning 7am to 8am.

It's a nice place! You have to go down some of the side trails with the kayak if you wanna see some gators! Little baby gators.

When we are feeling adventurous and outdoorsy this is our spot. Around Spring and Summer when the weather is perfect i suggest you go out super early, as the park can sometimes close due to overcrowding. There are many things to do such as walking the Trails, camping, canoeing, kayaking, and best of all swimming in the natural spring. We... More

We camped at this wonderful Florida State Park and our spot was surrounded with enough greenery that we could sit there and imagine we were all alone in the world even though other campsites were nearby. Plus, we saw 3 deer on one occasion and we saw 4 deer and a fawn on the next day. The restrooms were neat... More

Loved it. This place was very clean and enjoyable. The water was crystal clear. The parking lot was safe and the walkways to the swimming hole were clear and smooth. There were benches and a large patch of grass for blankets. The nature center was nice and there were several trails. This was a relaxing family spot. There were several... More
