This little ferry crosses the St. John’s River, drops you off at Mayport near Singletons and Safe Harbor Seafood. $6, saves a lot of time.

We were on our way south from Savannah to Orlando and wanted to take in the fantastic scenery along the coast. As a first timer to the area, we got on route A1A at its northern terminus in Amelia Island and took the auto ferry...More

Have been using this ferry for over 15 years, not a fan of high bridges and my mon lives in Atlantic Beach. It's the fast, easy, clean, and you will never meet friendlier people than you will on this ferry. Six minutes from landing to...More

Get a great view of the St Johns river and the tiny shrimping community of Mayport while you and your car cross the river. Once you park on the ferry be sure to get out of your car so you can stand at the rails...More

It's always fun to have a little adventure and cross a river on a ferry, especially if it's cheap and convenient. I also loved people who work there - they make it even more entertaining.

When I was little my parents would take me for a ride on the Ferry. The dreams still ring true when I ride it across the Mayport area to Fernandina and back to the beaches.

It's about a 5 minute ride from port to port and $5.00 per vehicle and $1:00 per person other than the driver. It's a comfortable way to get from Amelia Island to Mayport for the great seafood restaurants there,
