Chehaw is a great place for a family outing. Have a picnic with family and friends, or get a pavilion and have a family reunion. The playground for kids is great. The zoo is fun and relaxing.

Chehaw is ok for small kids... they don't have as many animals as they use to. Lots of camping sites available. They do a good Christmas Light show all kids will enjoy.

This is a great example of south Georgia's landscape. Great for family reunions and picnics. Great trails for riding/walking.

Lots to do and see. Very educational. A little pricey though. The price does not allow for those who have little income to come visit such a great place.

The Park-Zoo is well-structured, different varieties of rare animals. Some huts host different types of reptiles. The part of the swamp with the alligators is their strength. A spectacle for the eyes. You can admire the alligators in the wild. The negative, turning around for...More

Pet's are welcome in the campground and throughout the Park. The only place they aren't allowed is in the Zoo due to quarantine codes. The hiking trails are great for pets!
