This is a very shallow place to have close encounters with nurse sharks and rays, including opportunities to touch them. Nurse sharks are a nice introduction to sharks, not nearly as scary as other varieties. The guides will feed and hold the animals so divers and snorkelers can have to chance to touch them. It's not great for diving, but... More

We went to Shark Ray Alley right after Hol Chan and it was a great experience. I've never seen so many sharks in the water at once. Nurse sharks will not hurt you as long as you are not near their food and they are beautiful creatures. There are lots of boats here but lots of sharks so you will... More

This was such a cool place!! Immediately nurse sharks and stingrays were swimming up to us! Our guides were able to hold onto both sharks and stingrays in order for us to get a better look! Definitely recommend going here! Especially with an experienced guide to get the full experience!

I never thought I'd be swimming/snorkeling with sharks, yes sharks nurse sharks tons of them. Unbelievable to be in the water with so many sharks and once you got use to it, your fear goes away quickly. An amazing experience. Glad we did!

Akin to Sting Ray City in Cayman, but so much more. The guides feed the sharks and quickly they appear. Some sharks as long as 9 feet amid other smaller ones. Our guid held a shark in his arms and we all got to rub the skin...wow!

This was a highlight of our trip to Belize. After snorkeling at Hol Chan we went over to Shark Alley. As soon as the boat arrived the nurse sharks were banging against the side of our boat. The sharks are harmless and we were in the water a few feet away from the sharks, fish and rays and once they... More

I love snorkeling at this spot, coming down on my favorite Tough-E-Nuff large Catamaran and n hour later jump to Shark-Ray Alley, while sharks are coming for their munchies ( no worries - they don't care about you! they are waiting for the pieces of food from the crew of the Cat and they are prepared!) - and then visiting... Good way to get acquainted w the inhabitants of the water. Perfect for a first-day adventure as tons of fun but not overly ambitious especially if traveling with kids

We snorkeled here with a guided tour. There were a lot of tours out, so kind of crowded, but we were able to see a lot of sting rays. Our tour guide fed the sharks so they came to the boat, but after they were fed they disappeared.
