Wonderful scuba trip

Visited Hol Chan reserve twice in company with Scuba School and Family Dive Center, Belize. Totally amazing marine life, well worth a visit to scuba or snorkel.

My wife and I snorkeled here 5 years ago and had a nice experience. This time there were far to many boats with so many people that the marine life were scared off. We didn't see many fish. Very disappointing.

The fish were abundant and the reef was beautifully protected. We traveled with Island Dream Tours - YOLO and I highly recommend them to ALL. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out many sea creatures that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Wow!!! We visited here with Tuff E Nuff tours! It was incredible! We saw sting rays, nurse sharks, sea turtles, barracuda, moray eel, and a plethora of incredible fish! This place is a must visit on Ambergris Caye!

Calm water, spotted eagle ray, green moray eel, barracudas, nurse sharks, rays, and more to see. I would imagine the quality of the snorkel would depend on the guide. We did see one guide baiting an eel which did not seem safe. Our guide was very good, however.

I give it a 4-star because I had been to this place about a decade ago and had memories of seeing wonderful corals. This time not so. I think Hurricane that happened in August 2015 did a lot of damage to corals and to the island in general. The fish were though plentiful and Diving company & Guide I went... More

Second biggest reef in the World! Sting rays, nurse sharks, sea turtles, fish everywhere! You will not be disappointed if you go out to the reef for a day of adventure. We were there at Christmas and swam for 1.5 hours without getting cold. I would go again in a second.
