This is not the real thing just a place they take you to buy over priced non-authentic items. It was extremely noisy and busy. Not at all relaxing nor did it have the island vibe like Caye Caulker.

In store spot 11 which was named Caribbean Souvenirs II, I tried on a pair of sunglasses. I put my phone down and went to look in the mirror and realized my phone was missing. My family and another small group were in the store....More

The Belize Village has many small places to shop for souvenirs as well as locally made crafts. There are also areas to eat local cuisine. The views of the water and lighthouse are nice as well.

Not a large variety of different shops. Much that is offered says mad in Belize but really made in Mexico. Jewelry be careful usually not silver.

Not too impressed with this location. Typical tourist trap. High prices. Low quality merchandise. Aggressive locals trying to hock their particular shop/wares/Service. When we exited the tourism compound we had a guy follow us from the gate all the way to a local dive shop...More

Created to cater to the Cruise Ships, this is all tourist driven. It's not very authentic, though they do sell some Belizian products and food. I recommend getting outside of the Tourism Village and experiencing the real city and country.

Very close - you are basically in the area when you arrive. Talk to the people around the ticket booth. Very helpful. Careful of all the people selling stuff. Most are good but keep your wits. You will be fine. Nice place.

Anyone can access the shopping port area. It does seem to blend in with the the other buildings though. There are several entrances/exits. We even shopped and had our hair braided in the bus unloading lot. I believe the... More

We went in and out of the gated area a couple of time without showing anything. Basically if you look like a tourist and not like a local you aren't asked anything. This area is not like a passport check point. where we... More
