Offered as an excursion from the Royal Carribean, this beach was a disappointment. The photos offer an unrealistic look at your day at the beach. This is a MAN MADE beach. The ocean is behind it, you can get close and look out at the actual ocean, but this beach offered in Old Belize is no different than going to... More

I had a group of 40 and we went to Old Belize for lunch. Our guide had called ahead to reserve one long table. It was set up and ready for us when we arrived. The food was really good. The service was good, and considering that we had such a large group, they were relatively quick with the food... More

Not sure why the restaurant at Old Belize is not listed for a separate review as it is really nice and the food is great. Seating is outside with view of the beach and water park. The menu is large with many options. The conch ceviche was one of the best I ever had and the portion was huge.

I took my autistic grandson there for the Easter, he had was wonderful time. The staff were pleasant and environment was not too stressful. We were able to purchase food while we were there.

Kind of basic. It told the history of the Mayans. Pretty good for kids. They have a restaurant and water park next to it but kind of off the beaten path in a dodgy area.

Visited Belize city as part of our Carribean cruise, picked up a tour at the port, reasonably priced and charming tour guide, not much to see tour of city only lasted half an hour before we arrived at Old Belize Cultural centre including Kukumber beach (extra charge on top of tour for entrance). Beach was manmade but well set out... More

Comparative prices for souvenir shopping, wide selection. Historic items were interesting. Staff was friendly. A great spot in the middle of nowhere - a hidden gem! Waterslide, water toys, calm beach, music and good food.

Old Belize beach is like a tiny aqua park with one water slide. From Belize city you take a bus towards Belmopan or Benque and get off at Old Belize. The price is 2 BZD. The entrance fee to the beach is 10 USD. A pool is very close to the sea but separated by a narrow strip. It is... More

My friends took me out for my birthday at old Belize and from the start of the evening I was already dissatisfied. We literally had to ask for our food and drinks menu. I thought this was supposed to be offered to the customer immediately after being seated. The food was decent. Could have been better but that's just a... More

This location is nice to spend the day if you are with family or a group who have different activity levels. At this location you can lounge on the beach or play in the sunshine. And for those with historic/ cultural interest, there is a museum on location ( double check to make sure it is open before you go).... More
