We drove by the sight but didn't see much of interest. Maybe we missed out looking inside but didn't have time to stop.

Please check to see if this is open before going there. I think you need to call. You can walk around the grounds, which is interesting, but will take you about 10 minutes.
We stopped to check out Government House, lots of history and stories about when the British first occupied Belize, worth checking out

Has no business charging to see some old furniture. Not very interesting. There are way better things to do in town. Take a photo of the outside and you've got the gist.
Rich history to see and great water views. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We arrived on a day off but they let us walk through on our own without charge. So sweet.
Government house has interesting historical exhibits. Take the time to read the letters and journal entries to get a sense of colonial Belize (British Honduras). The grounds and view are lovely!
