The 1000 foot falls is located in Mountain Pine Ridge in the Mayan Mountains of the Cayo District. It's not extremely easy to get to but it is really a site to behold. If you can hit it after a heavy rain the falls will...More

Very pretty location, scenic and relaxing. This would be a good place to stop for a picnic lunch, a dip in the water or just to stretch your legs as we did.

Belize is not a country with spectacular waterfalls (if you are looking for them). Driving through Mountain Pine Ridge in itself is an adventure and you will need good clearance and patience. 1000' falls is definitely Not worth the drive and effort because you can't...More

We were there a while ago, but the place still resonates in my memory. While quite a drive, the whole Mountain Pine area is beautiful.

These falls are amazing and the man that lives next to them was so friendly and the area was beautiful. We packed a lunch and ate, waiting 30 minutes and the fog disappeared. It was a perfect way to spend our day!

Went camping (10 $ PP) here a few weeks ago, the weather was amazing, cool and windy. This is a welcome change from the usual sweltering heat everywhere else. The grounds are basic but adequate and who won't enjoy camping next to a beautiful waterfall!
