It is a mixed occupancy area, many hotels, a great variety of restaurants for all tastes, office space, apartment buildings, condominiums, boutiques, drug stores ( pharmacies )
stores, etc.
There is a Coffe shop/restaurant chain calles SAN MARTIN, affordable prices, there is also a McDonalds across the street from this place, and many hotels.
Not to be missed are two Greek Restaurants, DEL GRIEGO and the other MYKONOS, large menus to satisfy any apetite. For Hotels you have the Radisson, The Westin, Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Courtyard by Marriott, etc
stores, etc.

This is the zone with most expensive restaurants and hotels in Guatemala City. Safe to walk around. Westin Hotel and InterContinental Hotel are all located there. Probably the most expensive part of the city.

The Zona Viva is a historical route in Guatemala city worth of your time and visit. It has few places that are part of the humanity landmarks which are full of history.

This zone comes to life at night. Bands, breweries, restaurants, fast food joints, high end hotels are all here. If you are in Guatamala city for a few nights and you do not speak Spanish you can survive here.
This is one of the much safer areas in Guatamala city. I walk around here after 9pm no problem.

"Viva" which already says it all! You can't walk around as nicely as in Zona 4, but there are still many nice bars around there.

It's all lit up from the major hotels and central american sky scrapers. So many bars and restaurants, both inside the various hotels and outside on the streets to enjoy. You cant go wrong with the nightlife there.

You can walk to many restaurants close to the best hotels in the city. We like to go for a cup of wine and then to our favorite restaurants for a nice meal, all within walking distance.

Suerte y disfruta!
