Everything in the store is made from TRASH. Glass, tin, wood and so forth. All is made by the local people. Very unique pieces and very reasonably priced. This is a must stop, store manger was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Interesting items made from the local landfill by members of a collective to support their families. They have improved from visit to visit in the quality and quantity of their items. Should you wish to support local island families, this is the place to go.

We went to a couple of the Rusty Fish locations and had a lot of fun looking at all the different pieces of art. The organization is great as it gives back to the community as uses rubbish to create awesome Caribbean décor for your home, and cool gifts for friends and family. We bought a bunch of small pieces... More

The girls in our family really enjoyed shopping at the Rusty Fish! Everything is made on the island and supports families. At the larger store next to the bakery, we saw some large "happy fish" made from recycled metal and painted with car paint. Very colorfully painted!. But getting them home on a plane would have been difficult. After we... More

Great place to buy hand made souvenirs while helping local families and the environment. They turn discarded metal into beautiful wall hanging art . Highly recommended!

One of the best feel good places you could shop in. The shop owner, in a lovely British accent and with an amazing smile, will gladly tell you how 70 families turn trash to treasure in Roatan and help to support their families by doing so. Loved the shop, the idea behind the shop, the wonderful people who work there,... More

I enjoy shopping at Rusty Fish. I like their art, which is great for decorating our island house. It's metal art made by locals that are trained to cut and paint the metal. I like to support the local artists every chance i get.

The owner, Adam, has done a great job in working with locals and using old and scrapped materials to make some great one-of-a-kind souvenir items. The staff is friendly and the prices are quite reasonable. Since many visitors stop at West End and visit, especially those staying at West Bay, this is a great location and a logical offshoot from... More
