I was at Anthony's Key many, many years ago, so I was not sure it would be as nice as I remembered. Well I was in for a surprise as it was amazing. The hotel was very nice, and the dolphin encounter was tasteful and...More

This is for the less active dolphin activity. No swimming or snorkeling. We were shuttled to the resort in a large van which is a little worn but ran good and had good a/c. We walked out to a dock where we climbed into large...More

This has been on the bucket list for awhile and I waited through 4 other cruises to book it because I wanted to pick the right place that I felt treated their dolphins right. This might not be completely perfect because they are captive, but...More

This place is sad. Dolphins are wild animals and were never meant to be a tourist attraction. They make it seem that they're happy and playful, but they're actually doing everything for food. Living in these conditions causes immense stress and the often have to...More

Of course it's adorable. You are petting a dolphin and it kisses you and you get a cute photo. But that's really it. I could tell the trainer did not like my questions about the dolphins quality of life (how deep is the water, what...More

There are varying levels to this operation, and I'm not sure the price will be right for everyone, but we ended up with some fabulous photos of our kids receiving a dolphin "kiss."

Our family really enjoyed getting to know our new dolphin friend "Elli" at the Dolphin Encounter. I have always loved dolphins from a distance, and found these animals were even more amazing up close. I can highly recommend this experience to others who want to...More

The dolphins are in a bay so your interact with them in a real environment, not in a dirty swimming pool. Without a doubt I would highly recommend this. Make sure and include the snorkel with dolphins in the package. It is absolutely amazing.

We booked directly with Anthony's Key resort online. We rented a car. So you could just get a taxi to take you. there are tons of them waiting at the cruise ship. sorry not sure on the price of the taxi.

We went in December. It was beautiful. Water was 80 deg F which is not warm but certainly nice for ocean swimming.

We booked the Dolphins and snorkel through carnival. Not sure if they have one the other excursion. It's only a half day excursion so you should be able to do both
