I have always liked going to Tegucigalpa's downtown area, especially going to central park and its surroundings. I was there last week. It always brings back childhood memories.

This is a very busy square in Tegucigalpa. There are plenty of places to eat and the church right next to the square is impressive.

There are frequent concerts, exhibitions, and other presentations. It is also great for people watching. You do need to be vigilant for safety concerns, but using common sense during the day should be enough.

I was surprised to see how much it has changed. I used to walk around the park almost every week, since I used to live near by. Now there are more things to do.

Nice place to catch some shade on a hot sunny day and people watch. It gets really busy around lunch time with lots of locals.

You need to be very careful of yourselves when in this park. Does not have a good feeling when there are many police stationed in a park
