The museum is great for children (and even adults). There are a lot of different exhibits that are very interactive and educational. We went with a 2 year old and he loved it. We were only there for a little over an hour and it was not enough time. We will be going back for sure. I would recommend to... More

This museum is great specially for kids. It's full of activities and you learn a lot while having fun. The guides are always nice and you can have a lot of fun with your family. I still love going there!

I have two small kids and always include a trip to the local children's museum when travelling. I have visited many small suburban museums in the US as well as larger museums in big cities like Chicago, Mexico City and Miami. I am also a member of two museums. Chiminike is World Class! It is very large, includes 3 floors... More

I had expected a second rate children's museum in Honduras, but this one was built with funds from the World Bank. The quality was not unlike children's museums in the USA. My son loved his visit to the museum, but I had fun too. There are lots of exhibits that will interest adults, such as the crooked house. But be... More

A children's museum, that the adults enjoy as much as the kids. Our group of family included kids from 5 to 15 , and we all loved it. Great interactive exhibits, excellent maintenance. Helpful staff, plenty of parking and set on a hill high enough to get a nice view of the city. A safe and fun place to viisit.

I took my first graders on a field trip to the museum and it was fantastic. The exhibits are interactive and educational, and we all had a blast. The tour guides were highly energetic, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Admission was inexpensive, and souvenirs were moderately priced. Wish we had more time here to explore!

This is a definite place to go for families with young children. Our three boys, ages 2 through 7, loved it. It is huge with a very open feel and has lots to do; we were there three hours and didn't see everything. Our favorite areas were the water room, the truck area, the grocery store, the tv station, the... More
