Not much to it, but good for a selfie. Looks like you can camp beside it and maybe it's an outdoor venue.

Everyone needs to stop and see the largest peanut in the world in Ashburn, GA. A legacy of legendary newspaperwoman, Nora Lawrence Smith, the peanut monument sits adjacent to I-75 and can be accessed from Whittle Circle.

This is located in Ashburn right next to Carroll's Sausages -- a two-in-one tourism slam dunk. The giant peanut is classic Americana. According to Roadside America, the peanut was built in 1975. It is well maintained and is in excellent condition. Must stop for a picture.

Just off the interstate was this large peanut monument. I had to stop and take some picture's. This is one of those places you must stop and see at least once.

The World's Largest Peanut is located off of exit 82. When headed north on I-75 turn left at the stop sign, cross under the overpass. At the next past the overpass, take a left - not the first parking lot. The parking lot won't go all the way down to the peanut. When making a left on the street, travel... More

If you want to capture a great photo moment with your family on your road trip through Georgia, then be sure to take the time to go off the exit 82 on Interstate 75. Follow the road over to Carroll Sausage & Country Store. You can park your car in their parking lot and walk over toward the huge World's... More

It is nothing more than a road side photo op. There is a picnic table, under a gazebo, so could be a nice place to have a picnic. Based on previous reviews we did not get out of the car, just drove up close enough to read the sign, then went on our way.

Interesting dedication plaque, funny giant peanut done in paper-mache. But doubtful it's the largest peanut worldwide. Only in America lol.
