We spent a couple of pleasant hours here one windy Sunday afternoon. There are several small gardens (flowers, herbs, international, and hummingbird). For us, the best was the herb garden with all its different smells and flowers. There are plenty of sitting areas for older...More

Great walking trails. Readily available maps and walking trails that are well marked and maintained. If you're interested in finding a great walking experience whether you have a little or a lot of time, I would highly recommend the State Botanical gardens.

This is an excellent place to stroll, hike or sit and enjoy the beauty of the gardens. Their event space is reasonable and top notch!

The beautiful kept gardens are well worth visiting. They recently had a flea market which was interesting. Peaceful oasis.

It's free to park and visit although they appreciate donations. I usually try to put a few dollars in the box by the entrance whenever we attend but its not required or expected.

There are a good number of paved trails that are, but there are more unpaved trails that are not. The paved trails to cover the majority of the actual gardens though while the unpaved trails are just nature trails.
