This was a lovely museum, with a little smattering of everything related to local and national history. The largest exhibits were related to early Augusta history, golf, James Brown, and the railroad. There was an extensive James Brown collection, as grew up in the area....More

The museum was small, but only cost $4 to enter. I enjoyed looking around and learning about the area. The only issue I had was that there is a trolley tour on Saturdays but the sign for the tour is hidden and if you don't...More

This museum looks small on the outside but once inside surprised at the size and how many exhibits were on display on the two floors. Each floor had interactive exhibits with lots of Augusta History (Native American, World War 1 &2, antebellum period, Transportation )...More

Nice that admission was only $1 in August, but would have been willing to pay much more. Very good chronological layout from pre-history to current times. We very much enjoyed the local flavor of all the exhibits.
