I guess its to be expected in a history museum. Pretty neat stuff but super boring. They just need a nap area and a coffee bar to keep you going.

Loved the way the museum organized the history trail of Agusta. We were there on a Sunday. The staff were very helpful with extra questions.

Really enjoyed our visit to Museum. Very nice displays throughout. Local people will enjoy as well as people not from our area. Very reasonable admission.Would recommend. Mark Weinberger

A day of celebration during my 55th birthday and visiting the southern history of the South and Augusta Ga. The museum was interesting with the different setting from Slavery to cotton gin.

Golf, James Brown, Jimmie Dyess, Train and many other fine exhibits. Do not miss the Jimmie Dyess Symposium held the 2nd Thursday in January each year.

This was a lovely museum, with a little smattering of everything related to local and national history. The largest exhibits were related to early Augusta history, golf, James Brown, and the railroad. There was an extensive James Brown collection, as grew up in the area....More

I came with a group and Walt was our guide. He did a fantastic job! Very informant. The James Brown collection was very impressive. The train was really neat!
