The Woodrow Wilson Boyhood Home, a National Historic Landmark, is located at 419 7th St. within the boundaries of the Augusta Downtown Historic District. The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson serves as a house museum depicting the life of the 28th President as a boy growing up in Georgia during the Civil War and Reconstruction. As the oldest Presidential residence in the state, it serves as an educational facility and a historic attraction for the City of Augusta, the State of Georgia and the Nation. It is owned and operated by Historic Augusta, Inc.

Did the tour with my Daughter we both learned so much .The house has some dishes and furniture from the time Woodrow Wilson was a child...If you love history you'll have to put this in your list to do..

Wonderful house with very knowledgeable host. Can take pictures inside which is a rarity. Certainly worth seeing if you have the time. I went around Christmas and got to see the decorations.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. My mom and I love looking at older homes with all the beautiful antique furnishings. This home did not disappoint.

It was already closed before we got there. It did look neat, and we would go back to do the tour, but make sure you go early and check the hours before going. It was not hard to find. It was on Tripadvisor, as well...More
