Not to crowded and a nice beach. Nice place to snorkel (bring your own gear, no rental at the beach). Several pick nick tables offer a place to sit. Restaurants are nearby so all you need for a perfect day on the beach.

Came here from a 5 minute walk from the condo. Rough waves on the left. Nice sandy (with some rocks) on the right. Caught some waves with the boogie board and my daughter loved it.

Casual lunch . Limited menu but ok. Food was cold. Service was good. Not cheap. Coconut shrimp was excellent.

Several large schools of fish, eels, trumpetfish, a turtle, a monk seal, and some fish we'd never seen before (although we have snorkeled often!) A great place for couples and families!

We were tired and wanted a good dinner on the beach. This was our fifth visit to Kauai and never ate here before. The staff was very pleasant and we were seated quickly. Drinks were good and food was equally as nice.

There are almost as many turtles in the water as boogie boarders! And the nice thing is that nobody messes with them. Just a lot of people pointing and obviously very excited and surprised to see so many turtles in the shallow water and in...More

This beach which is just on the other side of the green space from Poipu beach, is completely exposed to the ocean, without a barrier, so it makes it better for surf, but definitely more rough than Poipu. Poipu is the nicer of the 2...More

Love this beach. Great snorkeling when the water is calm. I like that there is restrooms and a great lunch/ bar place across the street. Nice swim spots and plenty of great sand for the kids and your gear. Places to rinse off and picnic...More
