We've cruised all over Kauai and stopped at several beaches. Anini Beach was the perfect beach for us. Restrooms, plenty of picnic tables, parking and shade on the beach when you just can't take hours of the beautiful, but scorching Hawaiian sun. The waves were...More

This is quite a long beach. There are lots of spots to stop off at, but the most popular ones are right next to each other: a day use beach with lots of sand, a hammock, a rope swing, etc; and a campground. I was...More

This was the first beach at which I did some snorkeling. Within 10 minutes, I came across a sea turtle swimming around. I did not see one after that in Kauai. This park has a sufficient amount of parking, it has plenty of picnic tables,...More

Loved this beach. There weren't alot of waves here, compared to the other beaches we tried to go to. Parking was adequate. The trees and shade areas near the beach was ideal. Our group of 10 had a blast swimming and frizbeeing. Not too crowded...More

The waves were calmer on the north side of the island when we were there so we tried Anini Beach. It is very calm water due to a reef. The waves break fairly far out. The fish there are not as plentiful as I’d like...More

We go to Kauai A LOT and Anini beach is our favorite. It is a great place to go with kids, because the water is shallow and calm. There is also great snorkeling and you often see turtles. We love it there.

I would consult a travel guide. We were at this beach in June and it was perfect.
