We loved the Kilohana location; sweet and friendly customer service and unique items. The Hanapepe location not so much as the young woman clerk couldn't be bothered to get off her Iphone; but the selection is the same and worth a stop.

What a wonderful treasure of local handcrafted artistic items! Went with a large family group and everyone found something unique and special to bring back home. Definitely a must when in Hanapepe!

What a surprising stop. Banana Patch has some truly unique and one of a kind items. From hand painted tiles and pottery to clocks and watercolor paintings. I was completely blown away by the selection and custom options. I loved the sea life tiles. This makes a for true Kauai souvenir.

We like to collect unique items when we travel and this was the place! They have several different types of art including water colors, pottery and tile. We loved this place and bought a few items to take home.

My husband and I were engaged on Kauai 5 years ago, and I recently contacted Banana Patch Studio to have a custom tile made in commemoration. I was very satisfied with their customer service and absolutely delighted with the final product! Will definitely visit and purchase from them when we are on the island again. Mahalo Joanna and all at... More

We visited Banana Patch in search of "local" gifts to take back for family and friends in Virginia. They offer a wonderful selection of crafted art for a gift or to take home with you, in all price ranges. But the real treat is the proprietor, who is knowledgeable of the local craftspeople and able to make great suggestions to... More

This is a beautiful studio with lots of beautifully painted pottery. You can watch the ladies create the pieces while you shop. There are so many different designs you surely will find one you want to take home. Also they have many other unique gift items to tempt your credit card. This is one of the nicer shops we found... Have been here prior and have pottery that holds up well with use and dishwasher safe, all hand painted on island. Great choices of art or other Hawaiian memories. Great staff and service. Highly recommend to go to Hanapepe to see studio where they do the painting.

We drove into Old Hanapepe, quite near Poipu, mainly to look at the old suspension bridge, but I was quickly captivated by this ceramic maker and store. Their designs are very different from the usual Hawaiian ones and they have a very wide selection of items in many patterns. I especially liked the ones with the plumeria and the scenes... More

Stopped by chance on our way to the Lighthouse at the Kong Lung Centre. Cheerfully greeted by the store keeper. He was very welcoming and enjoyed talking about the collections in the store which obviously featured many local artists. Many beautiful pieces were on display and we were allowed to take our time to browse. We did not purchase any... More
