I had a very enjoyable round of golf at the royal Hawaiian golf course this week. Perhaps the most scenic and picturesque course I have ever played. Very challenging with dense jungle and ravines in play on most holes. My only issue was that the...More

The former Luana Hills course is built in the midst of a tropical rainforest. They are undergoing a rather extensive reorganization, with their fourth owner. The scorecard distances are not accurate, and the hole layout is being rearranged. There is plenty of mud on this...More

The only thing this course has going for it, is that it has great views. My husband and I showed up for our tee time only to discover that there was no driving range! They don't tell you that when you book your tee time....More

Great layout. Very few back to back holes. Front nine is on the side of volcanic mount and back nine is cut through the jungle.

This golf course is unique. the views almost made me forget that I came here to play golf. Every hole seems different. The course is nestled into the hillside. Giant trees, flowers, ravines, streams all are part of the experience. The only bummer is that...More

Played Luana Hills last week (3/11). This is definitely a unique golf course. The setting cannot really be described in words. Think Jurassic Park. I really am amazed they were able to carve a golf course out of this jungle setting. My wife absolutely loved...More
