A great stop. Beautiful views of the coast. Can take a trail to see more views. Windy on the cliff. Can see the islands off the coast. Lots of parking. Bring your camera.

The views from this spot are amazing and stop at the beach just up the road. The surf and a little rough however the views are awesome and a little less crowded

There is a lot to park here to get a good look of the water. It's windy but gorgeous! After you stop here, there is more to come up the road!

I started my trail here! Amazing view there is a tiny island in the sea. Very nice and also you can see the beach from above. In the far distance i discovered an other island too. This point is a must stop thing on the shore.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen on Oahu. The color of the water is amazing. There are several large islands offshore and lots of tide pools that were cool to photograph. This is a large area, several places to stop, the tide pools, the beach and the lookouts. I would suggest vising all of them,... More

Very pretty look out. Close to a light house hike which is paved (read: stroller friendly). Parking available. Great view.

Do stop and hike up to the overlook. The view of the waves crashing below is breathtaking. So many shades of blue.

I'm pretty sure I found the right spot. I was so excited to go here to look at the tide pools. Instead I found several tents set up for people to live in. There was quite a bit of trash laying around on the ground too. I walked around for about 10 minutes and felt it was too creepy to... More

Absolute gorgeous view. I plan to have this Makapuu point for my future wedding photoshoot. It's very easy to get to if you keep driving east beyond the Hanuama Bay. The view is absolutely stunning from the lookout, but what makes this point different and special is you can go beyond the rails and still photoshoot safely.
