GREAT VIEWS

Well worth the stop for the outstanding views of Rabbit Island and Kāohikaipu Island State Seabird Sanctuary, Makapu'u beach. Can be windy though, but great views.

Beautiful spot for taking pictures of the coast line and the blue ocean. The parking is free but the lot is not very large.

Quick review - great place to snap a bunch of photos like crazy. Very beautiful panoramic view of the eastern most shores of Oahu. We didn't do the hike though we heard it was quite nice and paved. A recently-married couple had their photo session here just as we arrived. We took many pictures ourselves, and we'll let them do... More

I've never seen anything so gorgeous. It was a great hike, not overly challenging, but do bring a lot of water with you. It is truly a great walk, seeing the water hitting the rocks. Everything is so blue. One of the best hikes we did during our trip. There is a parking lot, just hide all of your belongings... More

Beautiful drive in the area of the island. Loved the view. The waves were crashing in to the rocks and the water was a beautiful blue. Great place for pictures.

A quick stop here is well worth the view out to Manana (Rabbit) Island and along the coast. From the high vantage point the ocean color really pops!

Went there with my husband on September 2nd. We went too late but we still had a glimpse of the view. There were few parking spaces in the lookout. It was so windy but the view was really spectacular. We saw some people hiked to the top. We were gonna go up but it started to get dark. Had to... More

We enjoyed going to the point to watch the surfers and waves. We didn't do any exploring as the waves were huge (day before hurricane hit). It also made for some fun pics. On lighter days, the beach is awesome!

This area is the most beautiful part of the island in my opinion. I stopped and took some pictures and walked the tidal pools. It was a really nice and scenic part of the island. Loved it.
