We are frequent visitors to Oahu and have stayed in many places on the island including Honolulu and the North Shore. This trip the weather in Honolulu was a little steamy so we headed up the Pali Highway looking to catch a rain shower on...More

A nice ride across the island. Goes by towns and open green areas. Lush areas which are very nice to see. Nice highway without too much traffic. A nice way to go.

We drove this route back to Honolulu after leaving Lanikai, while I was primarily paying attention to the road (as all drivers should be doing), I was able to see to catch a few glimpses of the views; this is probably one of the most...More

After landing at the airport we took this road to go to our rental at North Shore. The view was fabulous. Great way to get a first look of your surroundings.

Great view of the valley toward the east-side of the island. The history of the spot adds to the significance of the area. It was an easy drive from Honolulu. It is a easy paved walk from the parking lot to the overlook.

We decided to drive along the coast to the north shore and we took the Pali Highway - easy drive and interesting due to its history of having been a cow path and an old carriage way. Beautiful scenery along the way. I love Oahu...More

Short drive from Honolulu and provides a great view of the east side of the island. The day we visited was very windy, perhaps hurricane force winds as it was very difficult to stand. The view was overcast but could tell it would be beautiful...More

If you are crossing O’ahu on Rte 63, this overlook is worth a stop if the visibility is clear. An easy pullout off the Pali Highway, with a large parking area and an easy walk to the lookout. Allow perhaps 20 minutes.

If you rent a car you can't miss this drive. The sceneries are gorgeous, but only few places to stop. We did it at least twice to enjoy the beautiful views.
