Fun to visit

We went to the lower part of the dam and it was fun to see, some people were fishing off the catwalk. Will visit again!

It is such a peaceful place to go and will really be nice during the summer when it gets hot. Just go down there and stick your tootsies in!

This damn is huge and impressive. We only drove up for the view and did not hike or camp. It was worth the drive, but get directions to both sides of the damn and see the visitors center.

I can't speak enough about the very lake I grew up on. If you and the family are looking to do some boating, water skiing and fishing then this is your place. There are camping spots all over the lake with picnic tables. Middle of summer is excellent time to go

Unfortunately the lake levels were way down and we couldn't get to the water. The gates on the damn were open and according to the park ranger, that is a rare sight. Can't wait to come back in the summer. They have campgrounds that are accessed by ATV trails on the far NW side. We will be using those for... More

Great thing to see. Hard to believe they could build such things in the 20's. The lady at the visitors center was very friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed our visit.

The area of the dam was very clean and some really nice looking campgrounds, fishing is supposed to be great.

We drove to the base of the dam and to the top of the dam and never did find a visitors center nor signs to it. We spent so much time searching that we decided not to take more time and moved on. We may have been too hasty as other reviewers talk here about the good visitors center.

We happened upon Dent Campground at Dworshak Reservoir several years ago and since we were close this trip we wanted to spend a night there again. It is a little out of the way of a main road but worth the drive. It is pristine with large pine trees. There are covered picnic shelters at each site. The shower and... More

Hard to find. We drove and drove and finally got a view of the dam from across the reservoir. If you are going get good directions.
