Beautiful but not for the unfit!

Amazing vies but need proper walking shoes and clothing as there are some steep climbs and quite rocky. We want in the off-season (December) so much quieter [thank god] though still relatively busy. If you have young ones then I suggest Ouzoud waterfall, slightly further (3 hours from Marrekech) but a more gentle walk and the waterfall is equally as... More

We walked up with a local guide to the waterfalls. It was quite rocky and there was lots of climbing. Secure shoes are a must as there are no flat surfaces. The party I went with are relatively fit and we felt out of breath for most of it - I'm sure you could take it at a slower pace... More

You may have read about this place as a tourist trap. This is without doubt one of them, so be prepared. But if this is your first time here you may want to rent a car and do the trip on your own. If you are used to nice big waterfalls do not go there. And if you are not... More

I had my hiking in the rocky mountains in extreme weather condition but I loved it. Amazing view, fresh air and incredible experience that a must to do. Not far from Marrakesh, many tour agencies offer daily trip there, including visiting a berber family etc.

Had an excellent day out !our guide Abdulhaq and mohamed Amin were excellent guides. It's a dangerous trek up the waterfall but well worthwhile , be sure to wears proper shoes and carry a small first aid kit ! And it's also very cold up the mountain

View of the Atlas mountains was amazing and valley was picturesque. Involves little bit of a trek so go prepared with walking shoes. Waterfall was average. You have Berber handicraft shops and bargaining was a challenge for me.

About an hour and half drive from Marrakesh. Great views along the way. Highlights are the scenery with snow capped mountains in the background, suspension bridges across the valley and the restaurants by the water. Many shops with clayware, souvenirs, Argan oil-based products and fossils. Don't miss observing the small villages on the hill tops. You may find villagers walking... More

So after reading the reviews for this after booking I wasn't too sure what to expect as there are some negative comments out there. However I can say me and my partner had the most amazing day. We got picked up at 9 as stated (although note everyone was told 9 but my time we picked them up it was... More

A very interesting excursion into the Atlas Mountains complete with waterfall viewing and mountain climbing. The waterfalls are not massive but good viewing all the same. Great view from high up, perfect for photo enthusiasts. Our guide was very good and provided nice commentary spiced with humor. He also did not demand payment but did invite voluntary contributions which we... More

25th October 2016 I went to the ourika valley in the Atlas Mountains because the pics looked fabulous. Regret going. In a nutshell, it's a 1hour drive from Marrakech. With lovely scenic views. We stopped at a Berber village to see how they live, we then went to see how argan oil is made in a cosmetic building, they also... More
