Great weather, although during our stay it was cloudy and we missed the sun set/rise, however temperature was normal and the dunes not jammed from tourists. Recommended if you wish to do camel rides or 4wd drives in the desert.

We drove into the Moroccan Sahara fairly close to the Algerian border. You drive up to a sort of base camp and then get onto camels to ride deeper into the desert. The bedouins are charming and bit flirty (so women keep that in mind) but yet they are respectful. My camel was named Jimmy Hendriks by his bedouin! Once... More

3 days trip to the desert made me realize how beautiful, calm and peaceful it really was , even more how books and reviews describe; playing music and dancing under the stars in a oasis, surrounded by the immensity of the desert is simply a life changing moment

I had a fantastic time in Rissani with Mohammed as my guide. At first, I hadn't planned on spending much time in Rissani. I had spent a week in Merzouga and the Sahara, and I had originally planned on taking the morning bus out of Rissani to Fez. Some people like taking the night bus, but I didn't want to... More

first night we were the only guests at the camp, it was amazing. the stars were so bright. visiting the berbers was great, but second night desert biker tour arrived and caused plumbing issues. would still give 5 stars for the experience, food was great. you cant control other guests unfortunately.

It's just hills of sands, and it could be this unbelievable attractive, the view of sunset was definitely much better than the sunrise, but it wouldn't hear to experience the sunrise as well, because the dawn was equally amazing, with stars and the moon over your head in a pitch dark desert. you can not top that feeling.

The trip to the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains may have been long and at times tedious but at your destination the camels are waiting for you to climb aboard and trek you over the dunes to a sunset that is one in a million. After your trek back to your private tent complete with western toilet and shower, two... More

I was with a tour group and we spent 3 days/2 nights in the Sahara. It was beyond my expectations. We stayed in tents (equipped with toilets and shower) that were very nice. The first night we had a bit of a sandstorm and woke in the middle of the night with everything covered in sand. Don't take anything you... More
