We walked for an hour in the gorge by the river from our hotel Chez Pierre after breakfast. It was mostly quiet and peaceful but sometimes it was broken by the occasional passing vehicles. Later our driver drove us to the top and end of the gorge and we were able to do another 10 minutes of walking along the end... More

We did a 8 hours hike with Hussein, a guide found by Chez Pierre where we were staying. Great guide, great landscape and views, walking through a variety of scenery, in the gorges, going up the mountain, on the ridge. You can modulate the length and the difficulty.

The long drive into the gorge is quite spectacular. The switchbacks are quite impressive and there is a restaurant near the top of the switchback which gives a bathroom break and an opportunity for a nice view and soda.

Very Nice views and helpful people. Restaurant cascades du Dadès is a great starting point for a Nice 30 minute walk.

Both the drive out to this Gorge and the Gorge itself are absolutely beautiful. Definitely a "must see".

We passed by the road and the view from the top of it was simply amazing. Our car was not a 4 by 4 even though everybody suggested to go there with one, so dont be scared to go there if you are around and want to see another amazing part of Morocco!

We spent a night in the Gorge and the views were great. I recommend going up top to see the super bendy road you see in all the photos; it's several hairpin bends one after the other! The sounds of the river outside made for a nice night's sleep.

We stayed here for a night with a 4 day tour. The geology is astounding. The rock formations are huge, it is difficult to do it justice with an iPhone camera. We booked a private tour so were able to stop when ever we wanted. A great experience.

This road was amazing. Though it looks scary we had a great adventure since we had an expert driver. We stayed in this area the day before and we drove all the way to the top and drove down again going to merzouga. Its worth a visit!!!
