10 minutes should be more than enough to see this market ! And unless you intend to buy some fish , meat or flowers , or all of those , you will probably leave 'Marché Central' behind you in no time ....

If you have been to major "central market" elsewhere, then you can pass this. We got there around noon, and about half of the fewer than 100 stores had already closed. There were some seafood but it's pretty pricey. One novelty is there is a...More

Marché central is one of the oldest open market of Casablanca. It is a "must visit" place in Casablanca. Fish is the best in town and you should purchase some fish there and have on of the small restaurants around to cook it for you.

I enjoyed Marche Central more than old Medina. I loved the old market and it was nice not to be hasseled. It was a good first experience in a Souk in Morocco. Hint: take your time, suitable footwear, suitable clothing, camera , go with a...More

If you are around the city center at lunch Time, this is the best place to have a lunch. fresh seafood is coming everyday to the market right from the Port. Also an interesting souvenir shop, to grab some old posters or souvenirs.
