Shops can be quite aggressive, over priced. Lots of local Casablanca style food, at average prices. This part of Casa can be really, really dirty at times. A genuine, for better or for worse, Casablanca experience.
This was a highlight of Casablanca for us. Pick your fish or have them slice of a hunk of swordfish, a few oysters, some fresh vegetables, all beautifully grilled by one of the market restaurants. Wonderful!
Don't miss the fresh seafood. This is in the top five of all of our meals in Morocco. Fresh sardines, big and bright oysters, and whatever fish looks good to you.

The Marche Central is where ordinary people shop. It has colourful and interesting stalls, especially for meat and fish. Fresh fish of every variety!It is along Blvd Mohammed V so you'll be close-by anyway. Take a wander through.

You can buy from the fresh fish stalls and then have your choice cooked to your specifications at one of the cafes but you need to haggle so speaking French or Arabic will help
