Nothing much to see exactly, but it is the heart of the city. The souk is nearby and all main streets converge there. It's worth going just for the vibe.

Our hotel was close to this square which was lined with cafes. Streets of shops radiate from the plaza and the Old Medina is close by. The square is a gathering place for locals.

Not so far from the railway-station (approx 5min) : when you visit Casablanca, take a train to Rabat : more beautiful city. Very cheap and clean train !

This square reminded me a little of St Mark's Square in Venice if only because of the pigeons. The fountain was really nice to see. The location is walkable to the Royal Gardens. Otherwise, I am not sure what there is here to draw tourists.

This square is NOT a tourist attraction ! It is located just opposite the old medina , and it is convenient to sit down on a terrace and enjoy a tea or a coffee. It is also convenient to jump on the (very modern) tram...More
