This gate is one of the 14 entrances to the medina and the most famous of them. You can see signs towards it at various places and small cabs (petit taxi) take and drop passengers here 24/7. It's blue from the outside (colour of Fes) and green from the inside (colour of islam) and nicely restored. Easy to find and... More

Some gate leading into Medina, nothing much.. get there by taxi, ask for blue gate. Cost from train station is 13mad, make sure you ask for meter to be turned on when you enter the taxis in Fes.

Gates are big and nice but nothing spectacular regarding other gates around the city. Although it is good point of reference when navigating through medina because everyone (even other tourists) know about them.

The Bab Boujloud is the Blue Gate that leads to the old Medina. Inside the gate lots of restaurants that tend to be cheaper than other parts of the Medina. And of the course the start of lots of shops etc.

For us this was the main point for going to the Medina, and finding our way back home. There are also most of the restaurants near it.

this beautiful, imposing structure serves as a gateway to the hustle bustle of the every day life..here you can find people busy walking looking at the stalls selling a myriad of goods from shoes, garments, fruits, food you name it. come inside the Bab and be mesmerized at the activity. beyond the gates are coffee shops and other business entities.... At the end of the Medina you find Bab Boujloud, a beautiful Blue or Green gate depending on what side you look! There is the main tourist restaurants here and many touristy stalls offering a variety of gifts. Prices are more expensive here but it is convenient to get to and offers a summary of the Medina without going right... More

This is the main gate and a great landmark. Taxis can drop you off and pick you up there, which is a plus. It is one of the best looking gate and is iconic in Fez.
