Great rugs!

Great rugs at a fair price. Both Abdul and his brother were really nice, no-pressure people. We're very happy with our purchase. 10/10

The Guys at Coin Berber were calm and polite. They showed me a variety of carpets helping me to decide what tribe/area style I preferred. There wasn't much pressure to buy anything and the experience was easy and calm. The Haggling was entertaining and not a hassle. Do your research, find a price range your happy with, then to and... The beautiful Moroccan kilim carpets caught our attention during our visit to Morocco last month and we decided to shop for some. We visited several carpet showrooms both in Marrakech and in Fes for an idea of both quality and prices. We found our Kilims at Petit Coin Berbere on Talaa Kbira, the main street in the Fes souk. We... More

My husband and I popped into Coin Berbere to check out a couple of area rugs, and absolutely tore Abdul's store apart (sorry Abdul!). He spent hours with us, so patient to help us find the perfect carpets for our taste. Instead of one or two, we walked out with 7! My husband and I found Abdul and his brother... More

We purchased an Arabic-inscribed malachite ring, another beautiful silver ring and two stunning carpets from Abdul Hadi Bouzidi. Amidst the deceptive chaos and interference of so much of the unexceptional and uncertain, Coin Berbere emerges as an an oasis (pardon the pun) in a desert of erstwhile vendors. Abdul is a pleasure and spending time with him in conversation rounds... More

We just returned from Fes, Morocco and visited the studio of Coin Berbere. I was looking for a rug that would fit into our home that would not look out of place. Abdul helped us immensely. First he educated us about the various Berbere rugs and showed us many. I settled on the Beni Ourani type rug. Abdul helped me... More

Strolling through the Medina on our second day in Fes, were came across Coin Berbere. I had done some research the previous day after an underwhelming experience with another shopkeep and saw that this place had good reviews and good rugs so we dropped in. We were offered tea, but with bellies still full from an enormous breakfast, we politely... More

Coin Berbere, a shop run by the same family for generations, lives up to the hype. The quality of the of rugs is excellent, as is the selection of antique rugs, all can be received at a fair price - but of course you have to play the haggle game ;-). The shop owner is kind and knowledgeable and wont... More

Having been to Marrakech many times and experienced being 'led' to rug shops where we have been sceptical about the authenticity and quality of the rugs, we now make a point of always doing some research before buying rugs in Morocco. This being our first visit to Fez, we had looked into where to buy rugs in advance, and found... More
