Loved visiting the tanneries in Fez. From the rooftop of the leather shops, you can see the men working in the vats. They'll try to sell you some leather at the end, so be firm and honest if you don't want to buy.

it really depends of your intentions, when i went there I was more interested in exploring the old part (medina), and in one day you can explore really good

you can find leather goods in lot of cities around morocco, also in Fes. In Chouara Tannery you will find more expensive things in leather, but around medina you can find other ones, even of Camel too , and well you can... More
