This newly built railway station has its own unique Moroccan style and atmosphere but also treats well the modern traveler: there is free Wi-Fi, electrical sockets and plenty of seats. Inside the station you have a great selection of cafés and fast food restaurants.

Understand this is a new station for Marrakesh and they did a first class job with it. It appears true to Islamic architecture is large but easily navigated.

The building is quite new and has beautiful proportions with a vast central hall and all functions easily reached around it. The entrance to platforms is covered with huge awnings resembling leaves. Trains for Casablanca and further on to Fez and Tanger leave every two hours almost around the clock and tickets can be bought on arrival. There are several... More

Good ticketing service and clear information. A couple of coffee shops and other useful amenities available. Trip to Benguerir was supposed to last 1hour and 4min.. arrival at Benguerir with only half an hour delay.

This place is big as it is beautiful, located in new city. All it needs is more shops. Mcdonalds, KFC, Orange, Maroc and few others.

Came to Marrakesh via the station. It's so lovely. Very open and it's quite big, easy to access and easy to piece base tickets. Only problem is the queue to get to the platform, only 1 ticket master checking hundreds of people in, so make sure you give yourself enough time.

Train Stations around the world are much the same - splendid architecture, crowds, shops, and places to grab food and go. The Station Marrakech follows suit. The space is cavernous and very beautiful, the fast food places are adequate, but the shops are the type where pricing is four to five times the pricing in comparable shops in the medina.... More

Very nice architect and design built within an open space so breathable and away from the hussle and bussle of souks. Worth having a look around but not an all day visit. Very short as station is only small.

We visited this station on our walk thru the new city and it’s worthwhile. A modern building, heavily guarded but with a nice ceiling. A nice square in front of it so we could rest our legs a bit. You can see the hectic traffic, late passengers which a running for their train ;-) etcetera.
