Very nice course, full of trees. Really liked it and enjoyed playing there. We were allowed to go on the course without a caddy, which we prefer. Driving range balls were very expensive but service was very good. I would certainly go back to play there. It was my favourite course of the 4 I played in Marrakech

We visited the Royal last year, and loved it then, however this year we were very diappointed in the decline of the maintenance of the course. Weeds run rampant, as do bugs, we were all bitten so much, it was unbelievable, and sadly the only course where this problem occurred. It remains a lovely terrain, but the upkeep is very... More

Upon arrival it looks decent, pro shop very expensive, then it's all down hill, the T area is not what you would expect, the grass as such is like weeds and a tad over grown, so much so that, red tee's forget as you can get the same height by just putting your ball on a weed bed, even the... More

Even in the middle of July this golf course was in perfect condition (44 degrees Celsius). It is a championship course with beautiful views, the greens are very well maintained. Not too difficult to play, but still a nice challenge. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We played three times and didn't get bored. A great place.

Having played Palm and almost played Amelkis we eventually got to The Royal Golf Club and found it was like a real holiday golf club, they had caddies, buggies, practice facilities, marshalls, restaurants and everything you would hope for at a golf club, everything the other two did not have. The course itself was very tight but not overly long,... More

This was the second year we played here and it does not disappoint. Unlike all the other courses in the city, this is a parkland style course which could be set in England or France (apart from the weather and the views). A great contrast to the open desert style which requires much more control off the tees. The caddies... More

Recently played the course whilst on holiday here. Views are amazing and the course was fantastic. Hired clubs which was good, only downside is that you have to pay for balls and tees. Would recommend the course to all abilities.

Pretty typical old style course with a few interesting twists. I thought it was in decent shape though a bit expensive by the time paying for fees, clubs, balls, and caddy. As was mentioned in a previous post, the caddy seemed to think he could take a few balls out of the bag. At 100/3 this was a no go... More

Played here on 21st March and enjoyed it so much we booked two further rounds. With several new courses opening in the few couple years Marrakech is a great golfing destination but for playability and quality the Royal takes some beating. The greens are superb, if a bit tricky!! Fast and true with subtle borrows they are a real test.... More

Royal golf club is really ancient among other newborns in Marrakech. So trees are well grown, distance very reasonable, so no extra advantage for big hitters, even if you walk in the forest, shade is rare as fairways are straight and wide. Don't expect excitement, but flat, relaxing golf course with nice atmosphere and some views over the Atlas. As... More
