From the outside, this really does look like nothing special! But, inside it is a fabulous little museum with some great exhibits bring Moroccan culture to life and some beautiful rooms to explore. Make sure to look up for the wooden ceilings!! We went first thing in the morning and were almost the only visitors so really got the most... More

This place sounded interesting in the guide book but we were left feeling underwhelmed! It has not been preserved as much as some of the other attractions.

This old house features pottery leather and carpets from different regions in Morocco. Very basic on the main floor climb to the third floor to see the beautifully decorated rooms.

The first level is old and not well preserved. There are a few objects of a collection but not much to see... The second floor is better with nice rooms. Overall this is an average visit, fast but the price is small. If you have 30min to spend when visiting the medina go for it.

This interesting and historical place (Dar Si Said Museum in Marrakesh), is actually a sumptuous old palace with stunning Hispano Moorish ceilings, plaster work and carved cedar woodwork. It’s worth coming to this monument just to discover the architecture and interior wonderful decoration include clothes, weaponry, objects of beaten copper as well as antique doors, Berber jewellery and gorgeous rugs... Nice enough but do later in a trip or when you're passing by. Building is a bit decrepit but is far more interesting than the collection, which is poorly displayed in harsh light and rather dull. From looking at the ceilings this place once had better lighting but it isn't in use anymore. There are some other activities in the... More

This is a beautiful old museum with very beautiful interior ceilings and tile work on the walls on the second floor. It's not as well kept as the Palais de Bahia, for example. But, it was nice to see an old palace that was a bit less polished.

We visited the Dar Si Said Museum the same day we visited the Bahia Palace and found that some of the rooms in the Dar Si Said site were even more interesting and opulent than that of the palace. The courtyard and garden is also really nice and quiet and we spent some time imagining earlier days when people congregated... More

We visited this museum and were pleased with the low entrance fee and spent about 1 hour looking at very interesting articles from the region, which were impressive. The place is cool, with clean wash rooms. Not a place to rave about but well worth dropping in.
