This town is great for shopping. The prices are lower than the rest of Morocco and they are willing to bargain with you. I purchased a beautiful large painted tagine for 220 dirham, which is much less than what they asked for similar pieces in...More

Allow plenty of time to explore and try not to get lost if you're on a limited time. All the interesting little passages, everyone a photographers heaven, the smells, the noise, the people and the atmosphere are more intimate than the larger Medinas. Perfect in...More

A mixture of Marrakech and real life Marocco! Old and new Medina. Old is very beautiful and more quiet new is more like a Bazar where locals go shopping. Be advise! Everything after sunset is closed!!

The Meknes Medina is small compared to the other imperial cities' medinas but there's no hassle and the Bab Mansour Gate is the most impressive gate in all of Morocco. The Bou Inania Madrasa is the most amazing madrasa I've seen in Morocco as well....More

This is a historic place and worth a quick visit. The size of it is impressive but it isn’t very elaborate compared to other places.

Visited here as part of our tour. One of the four imperial cities, Meknes is really beautiful, smaller medina with a very impressive gate. Visit to the old grainery and stables.

We love this medina. This is quieter compared to the Fes el Bali medina where we stayed for 4 nights. We stayed here for 3 nights and we love getting lost in the alleys. The people here are more relaxed and will leave you alone....More

This Medina was a lot smaller than others we had been to, but just as interesting and lovely. Lots of eager traders and heaps of things to buy.

Yes I only spent half a day there and then went to Volubilis which is also worth doing. If you have a car it only needs an hour or so to visit.
