Mukuvisi is the ideal place for a nice stroll amongst nature. The giraffes and antilopes of all sorts look really happy, and the parrots section is wonderful. So nice to see some of them outside the cages. It's a lovely place to visit with families...More

The staff are always welcoming. However, the place does need some refurbishing. The highlight of the time there was the exotic birds in the fenced area. Depending on the time of day one can miss seeing all animals from the viewing platform. I highly recommend...More

I loved the fact that the safari is riding on a horse. For me this made half of the safari. I never ride a horse before, but these horses are very used to people and they're calm, everything went good. We were a group of...More

Nice trails, and so peaceful all while being right in the city. Only down side...ticks! You can sometimes see giraffe if you come at feeding time, and they remember to feed them.

I was in Harare for business and popped by for a visit. I took the guided walk with Daniel who lead us by the zebras, impalas, elands, and giraffes. If you are in Africa and do not have time for a real safari tour, this...More

Harare underwhelms, mainly because of the general 3rd world decay and negativity due to subtle political undercurrent. So it’s refreshing to offload with a brisk morning walk in this somewhat unspoiled island of African bush within the city. As a keen birder, went to see...More

You can do a normal walk in the park small section. Or you can do a walking safari where the bigger wildlife are kept. Or I recommend a horse ride safari as you will get closer to the wildlife and not have to walk so much.
